The historic Saratoga Race Course is open for more than five weeks of exclusive thoroughbred racing each afternoon from late July through the beginning of September. World class polo matches also take place in Saratoga during the summer.

Downhill and cross-country skiing are within minutes from Prestwick Chase, as are ice skating rinks, public swimming pools, golf courses, bowling alleys and horseback riding stables. Saratoga Lake is located four miles southeast of the city of Saratoga Springs. The Lake is best known for sailing, outstanding bass fishing, water skiing, ice fishing and boating. A public boat launch as well as marinas and fishing guide services are available.
